A Newquay artist has described seeing one of her paintings displayed behind rock band Hawkwind during a live performance as a "real pinch-me moment".
Earlier this year, Diane Griffiths' painting The Train of Lights was chosen as the cover artwork for Hawkwind's latest album, Psychedelic Selection.
The artwork, inspired by the Dartmouth Train of Lights, captures illuminated railway carriages reflected across the River Dart. Diane previously said she was surprised when the band's management contacted her to ask permission to use the painting after it had been purchased by the wife of Hawkwind founder Dave Brock.
Now the artist has experienced another memorable milestone after being invited by the band to attend Morvala Festival as their guest following the album's release.
During the visit Diane met the band's Dave Brock who signed a copy of the album featuring her artwork.

She said one of the highlights came moments before the band's encore when The Train of Lights appeared on a giant screen behind the group as they performed.
Diane said: "On Saturday we attended Morvala Festival as guests of Hawkwind following the release of Psychedelic Selection, featuring my painting The Train of Lights as the album cover.
"It was a fantastic day. We met the band backstage, Dave signed the album, and one of the unexpected highlights came just before the encore when my painting appeared on the giant stage screen behind the band during their performance.
"Seeing a painting that began in my studio become part of the live show was a real pinch-me moment."
Diane's painting has now become a central part of the visual identity for Psychedelic Selection, appearing both on the album cover and during the band's live performances.
