Firefighters have extinguished a barn fire near Newquay.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service was called to Trevemper Road at 9:27am on Sunday following reports of a fire.
Two fire engines from Newquay and a wholetime officer were initially sent to the incident. On arrival, crews confirmed that a barn was well alight.
Additional firefighters from St Dennis and Tolvaddon were called in to help tackle the blaze, along with a water carrier from Wadebridge.
During the incident, Newquay's firefighters urged people living in the Trevemper Road area to keep their windows and doors closed while the fire was brought under control.
The incident has now been resolved.
