The Skateboard GB National Championships will return to Newquay next month for a three-day event featuring some of the country's top skateboarders.
Newquay Town Council says the Skateboard GB National Championships 2026 Park Discipline competition will take place at Concrete Waves Skatepark from 10 to 12 July.
Organisers say competitors will battle for a share of £10,000 in prize money, while also showcasing their skills against some of the best skateboarders from across the UK.
The championships return to Newquay following what organisers described as a successful event in 2025 and have become a regular fixture in the town's sporting calendar.
A spokesperson said: "Hosted at Newquay Town Council's Concrete Waves Skatepark, we are proud to welcome the Championships back to the town. One of the largest and well-known skateparks, and the home to British Olympian Lola Tambling, Concrete Waves is the perfect base to showcase skateboarding in the UK."
The Park Discipline competition takes place in a skatepark bowl, with competitors performing tricks above the lip of the bowl and along its coping. Spectators can expect to see flips, spins, grinds and aerial manoeuvres from around 50 competitors.
Among those expected to take part are members of the Skateboard GB National Team, including Lola Tambling, Lilly Strachan, Tay Cunningham and George O'Neill.
There will be men's and women's competitions, with equal prize money available across the events.
The championships are free to attend and organisers say free skateboard lessons and other activities will be available throughout the weekend.
