Police issue fresh appeal in search for missing woman last seen in Cornwall

Police have released new information as they continue the search for a missing 29-year-old woman last seen in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police say they are “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of Holly Collinson, who was reported missing by her family in Leicestershire on Friday 10 April.

Enquiries have established that Holly had travelled to Cornwall prior to being reported missing, including the Newquay area. Leicestershire Police said last week that she was known to have visited a pub in Central Square in Newquay on 25 March and was reported missing on 10 April.

Officers have now confirmed she was last seen leaving the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro at about 10:10 am on 31 March.

Holly is described as a white woman, about 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with blue eyes.

Police said she previously had long black, pink or red dreadlocks. However, when last seen she had straight dark hair, with the upper half coloured plum to red and the lower half darker, below shoulder length.

She was wearing a black coat, black trousers and a short-sleeved black Adidas shirt.

Holly has links to Bude, Newquay and Truro.

Anyone who has seen Holly or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact police by calling 999, quoting log 733 of 1 May.
