A special screening of the documentary Jo in the Water will take place at the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay.
The event will be held on Wednesday 13 May at 7pm and will include a screening of the film followed by a question-and-answer session.
The feature-length documentary follows Exmouth sea swimmer and environmental campaigner Jo Bateman as she challenges water companies over sewage pollution and its impact on the coastline and wildlife.
The film also features Jeremy Vine, Chris Packham and Jim Murray.
Organisers say the documentary explores the growing movement campaigning for cleaner waterways and aims to highlight the connection between communities, nature and environmental responsibility.
The film was directed by Pip Piper and follows recent national attention on water quality and sewage discharges.
