The plan includes a new length of footway on the existing highway verge along the road. Improved informal crossing points with tactile paving and the reinstatement of existing double yellow lines.
Cornwall Councillor for Newquay Porth and Tretherras Kevin Towill said: “We’re inviting comments on a proposal to enhance pedestrian connectivity between Lusty Glaze Beach and Newquay town centre.
“These improvements aim to make walking routes safer and more accessible, especially via the newly enhanced cliff path. If you have any comments or suggestions, use Cornwall Council’s Let’s Talk site or email traffic@cormacltd.co.uk, quoting the scheme name and reference, and indicating your support or objection to the proposals.”
