Children's Hospice South West opens new charity shop

Children's Hospice South West has opened its newest charity shop in Newquay.

The shop opened on East Street on Monday and was officially declared open by the Mayor of Newquay, Drew Creek, who cut a green ribbon at the ceremony.

The new store stocks a range of items including men's, women's and children's clothing, accessories, toys, games, books, media and bric-a-brac.

Jerome Browne, Area Retail Manager for Children's Hospice South West, said: "We are delighted to have opened our newest shop here in Newquay. We aim to be at the heart of the town's community while helping to raise vital funds for CHSW.

"Whatever way you can support us in the store, whether that's shopping with us, by dropping off donations or even volunteering, you'll be helping local families.

"Little Harbour supports babies, children and young people from across Cornwall and Plymouth, so by shopping and donating good quality items you will be making such a difference to them."

The charity is also looking for volunteers to help run the new shop.

Roles include processing donated stock, creating window displays, dressing mannequins and serving customers.
