A popular tourist attraction near St Newlyn East, has once again secured a place in the finals of the Cornwall Tourism Awards.
Lappa Valley is one of three finalists in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category, alongside The Minack Theatre and National Trust's Lanhydrock.
The attraction, which has been awarded Gold in this category for the past two consecutive years, is celebrating the news. Keith Southwell, owner of Lappa Valley, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, "We are extremely proud to be recognised in this way." He went on to acknowledge the hard work of his team and the support from visitors who have contributed to the park’s ongoing success.
The Cornwall Tourism Awards recognise excellence in the region’s tourism sector, celebrating businesses that offer outstanding visitor experiences. A large number of attractions entered the Large Visitor Attraction category this year, with the finalists selected through a rigorous judging process, including a mystery visit.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in November at Truro Cathedral, where the winners will be announced. This prestigious event will bring together some of the leading figures in Cornwall’s tourism industry.
Southwell added, "To be in the final again, alongside such highly respected attractions like Lanhydrock and The Minack, really is an honour. We wish the best of luck to our fellow finalists."
