Help find a cat a home

RSPCA Cornwall says it urgently needs to find homes for cats and kittens after being inundated with animals needing its help.

The charity says a significant number of cats of all ages have recently arrived in its care and it now needs to rehome as many as possible.

It's holding an Open Cat Meet Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, from 10am until 4pm, giving people the chance to meet cats looking for their forever homes and speak to the rehoming team.

RSPCA Cornwall says its last open event resulted in two-thirds of the available cats being reserved and it urgently hopes to repeat that success.

The event takes place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September at its HQ at Quoit near St Columb Major.
