Newquay theatre production to honour late actress Penelope Keith

The Director of a new production at Newquay's Lane Theatre say she wants to perform the show in honour of the late actress Penelope Keith.

Entertaining Angels opens on Wednesday 16 September. Keith previously played the lead role of Grace – a vicar's wife who, following the death of her husband, is enjoying the freedom to finally do and say exactly as she pleases.

But the return of her eccentric missionary sister Ruth, along with some disturbing revelations, forces Grace to confront the truth about her marriage.

Director Charlotte Porter says she was shocked to hear of Penelope Keith's death this summer and has been speaking to Radio Newquay about the production.
