The Newquay Lottery will be marking its fifth anniversary in April with extra Easter prize draws, including a £600 bonus jackpot on Good Friday.
Since launching in 2020, the lottery has given away over £100,000 in prizes, supporting local good causes and Radio Newquay, the town’s not-for-profit community station.
To celebrate, four Easter Bonus Bunny mini-draws will take place from Monday, 14th April, each awarding £50, leading up to the £600 jackpot draw on Good Friday.
New members can join for just £1 per week and enter the Easter draws by signing up at www.newquaylottery.com before 10am on Tuesday 18th March.
Radio Newquay presenter and co-founder Mark Chapple said: "We’ve been on air since September 2018, and it really feels like we’re now an integral part of the town. Over the last year, we’ve seen record online listening figures, with over 238,000 connections in January alone – and that’s not even counting FM listeners!"
"Newquay Lottery players not only keep us on air but also help fund local projects. Past beneficiaries include Newquay Foodbank, Lusty Surf Life Saving Club, Crantock Street Community Garden, Newquay Hockey Club, and Newquay Youth Football."
"With Radio Newquay now in its seventh year and the Newquay Lottery turning five, we wanted to give something extra back to those who support us. Thank you – and GOOD LUCK!"
