The Last Night of the Proms is returning to Newquay this week.
The concert will feature the Mount Charles Band and is organised by St Michael Lodge, with sponsorship from Start and Co Estate Agents. The event was originally part of the Newquay Fish Festival.
Organisers are encouraging people to dress in their nation’s colours and bring flags to wave, saying the evening will recreate the atmosphere of the Royal Albert Hall.
Funds raised from the night will support charities and good causes in Newquay and across Cornwall.
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £6 for seniors and under-16s, and are available from Newquay Tourist Information Centre on Marcus Hill, subject to a booking fee. They will also be available on the door, with flags on sale during the evening.
