Get ready to put your baking skills to the test as Newquay Lions host a Cake Off competition for local charities.
The competition on Sunday 13th October is your chance to show off your best lemon bake, fruit cake, or even the chocolatiest chocolate cake in a range of categories.
Cakes will be judged and then auctioned off to raise funds for Newquay Lions. Winners in each category will receive a rosette and a small prize, with the top cakes going head-to-head in a Championship Round.
Other categories include a Victoria Sandwich with the filling of the baker’s choice and the Best Gluten-Free Cake.
It takes place at the Kilbirnie Hotel from 11am. For more details on how to enter, visit Newquay Lions on Facebook.
