Four people have been injured, one seriously, following a collision near Newquay. A 20-year-old man was taken to Derriford Hospital in a serious condition after the single-vehicle collision on an unclassified road between St Newlyn East and Mitchell.
Police say emergency services were called to the incident, involving a silver Ford Fusion, at around 12.10am on Monday.
Officers confirmed that the man’s next of kin have been informed.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, and two female passengers, both also aged 18, were taken to Treliske Hospital with less serious injuries.
Police, fire and ambulance services all attended the scene.
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team carried out a detailed investigation.
