One person has been taken to hospital after a road traffic collision on the A3059.
Emergency services were called to the incident at about 4:15 on Thursday afternoon on the A3059 between the Nansledan roundabout and Newquay Holiday Park.
The road was closed while emergency services responded and remained shut into the evening.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: "We were called at 16:16hrs on Thursday 09 July to a road traffic collision near St Columb Minor.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer, a critical care car, and a first responder to the scene.
"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Treliske Hospital."
No further details about the patient's condition or the circumstances of the collision have been released.
