A candlelit vigil and women’s march will take place in Newquay on Friday night, as campaigners call for an end to male violence against women and girls.
Organisers hope the Reclaim the Night event will honour the women whose lives have been lost to male violence.
During the vigil at St Michael's Church, the names of victims who have died this year will be read out. Originally planned for the Killacourt, the venue has been moved to the church due to the poor weather forecast.
The evening, which begins at 6:00 pm, will also feature spoken word and music before the march through the town.
