A Newquay surf club for women is going from strength to strength and will hold an open day this weekend with free taster sessions for new members.
The Newquay Women’s Surf Club now has 105 members, including 31 girls aged 7-16 in its ‘Little Ladies’ group. This Sunday (June 29), they’re inviting women and girls from across Cornwall to join them at Quiksilver Surf School on Towan Beach.
The club is open to all abilities, whether you're completely new to surfing or looking to improve, and is available to women living in Cornwall with a Cornwall postcode.
The open day runs from 1pm for the Little Ladies (ages 7-16) and from 2:30pm for the over-17 group. More information on pre-registering for the free event can be found here. The Little Ladies event information is here.
