Newquay in Bloom has struck gold once again, winning top honours for the 16th year running at the South West in Bloom awards.
The group retained its Gold status in the St Bridget’s Cup for the small coastal town category at the ceremony held in Torquay.
Volunteers were also recognised with a special award for their social media efforts, celebrating their ongoing work to keep Newquay looking vibrant and welcoming.
Mayor Drew Creek joined the team in Torquay to celebrate the achievement, with Newquay in Bloom thanking its volunteers and supporters for helping the town stay “golden.”
