Newquay Dramatic Society presents Handbagged by Moira Buffini, a play imagining what may have taken place during private meetings between Margaret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth II.
The production explores the relationship between the two figures, combining humour with political tension and social dynamics.
Shows are scheduled for Thursday and Friday evenings, with a Saturday afternoon matinee added for this run.
The play is directed by Susie Bundy, who is known locally for productions including Dirty Dusting.
The theatre group is also using the production to raise money for dementia charity - Purple Angels Newquay, with raffle prizes donated by local businesses. You can buy tickets at the theatre.
A limited number of tickets remain available for the remaining performances, which run until Saturday afternoon. Click here for tickets.
