Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is set to arrive in Newquay this Sunday after being rescheduled from last weekend.
The international event brings together riders of classic and vintage-style motorcycles, dressed in formal attire, to raise money and awareness for men’s health causes, including prostate cancer research and mental health support. Riders from across Cornwall are expected to travel to Newquay as part of the event, with the convoy due to arrive after 4pm on Sunday 24 May. Organisers say the motorcycles will park at Sainsbury's before riders make their way to Project 83, which has helped support the event locally. People are being encouraged to look out for the riders around Central Square as they travel through the town. Businesses including restaurants, bars and other venues are also being invited to support the event by helping create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and riders.
