A Newquay Town Councillor is appealing for witnesses after vandals poured paint over his mobility scooter.
Dave Cheney, who is retired and a former Police officer, relies on the scooter to get around as he can no longer walk.
The incident took place in the Trenance Road / Bay View Terrace area on Monday night.
Thanks to a neighbour, most of the paint has now been removed by power washer.
Councillor Cheney has reported the incident to Police. If you have any information please contact Police, quoting crime reference: 50240248250
