Several Newquay businesses have been honoured at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2024, recognising their contributions to the Duchy's vibrant tourism scene.
Treseren, located near St Newlyn East, took home the Gold Award in the Wedding Venue category, celebrating its role as one of the area’s premier destinations for weddings. Babel Fish Language School also enjoyed success, winning Silver in the International Tourism category.
Gwinear Camping and Fishing near Newquay achieved a Silver Award in the Camping and Caravanning Park category.
The Garden Café at Trenance Heritage Cottages received a Silver in the Café and Tearoom of the Year category, securing a double win after recently announcing its National Good Food Award for the second year running. Another Newquay food spot, The Terrace Restaurant at Hendra Holiday Park, also earned Silver in the Casual Dining category.
Local attractions were similarly celebrated, with Lappa Valley Railway taking Bronze in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category and Screech Owl Sanctuary winning Silver in the Small Visitor Attraction section.
