At around 11pm on Monday, December 22nd, an attempt was made to force entry into a property in Trelawney Road with a hammer.
The suspects entered a garden but left empty handed after being disturbed and failing to gain entry to the property itself.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Anybody with information is asked to contact us via our website or 101 quoting 50250326840."
