The manager of Newquay Business Improvement District has pledged to deliver more events as the organisation looks ahead to a busy year in the town.
Newquay BID secured another five-year term following a ballot of local businesses in October.
Manager Mark Warren has told Radio Newquay that BID is there to support businesses and boost footfall all year round, with events playing a key role in attracting people into the town centre. He’s proud of initiatives including regular markets, the growing Zombie Crawl, Newquay at Christmas, town centre murals, and new efforts to put Newquay back on the map for New Year. But he's looking ahead and says Newquay BID is also working collaboratively to support other events across the town.
