Organisers of Boardmasters have announced the first two headliners for next summer’s festival, alongside 40 other artists and bands.
The surf and music festival returns to Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach from 6–10 August, with BRIT Award-winner RAYE headlining on Friday night. Saturday night will feature The Prodigy, performing their biggest hits at the clifftop venue.
Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, known for chart-topping hits I'm Like a Bird and Promiscuous, is set to deliver one of the weekend’s standout sing-along performances. Meanwhile, indie trio London Grammar, a favourite on Radio Newquay’s Chilled Vibes show, will bring their dreamy, ethereal sound to the shores of Cornwall.
Leeds indie-rockers Kaiser Chiefs, hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks—making a major comeback after nearly a decade—and Natasha Bedingfield also feature in the 2025 lineup.
Stargazing singer Myles Smith, recently named BBC Introducing Artist of the Year, is also among the first wave of acts revealed for the festival.
Organisers recently announced enhanced security and stewarding measures for 2025, including a 20% increase in security staff for crowd and behaviour management. It follows a crowd surge incident on the Friday night of the 2024 event.
Planned improvements include more Wi-Fi hotspots in the arena and campsites, as well as designated phone lines for free outgoing calls. Additionally, they promise 25 new entry search lanes and more thorough searches, without increasing wait times.
