Surfing England has revealed that registration will open next week for this year's English National Surfing Championships.
The event at Fistral Beach is scheduled for 5th – 7th April and will see elite shortboard surfers compete in the Open, Under 16, and Under 18 categories with a chance of being crowned the 2025 English National Champion, using the priority system.
Surfing England says that demand will be high and recommends early registration for the three-day, single-peak competition, which will feature live scoring.
The winners of the Open Men’s and Women’s divisions will automatically qualify to represent Team England at the ISA World Surfing Games in El Salvador and the European Surfing Championships.
If conditions are unsuitable in April, organisers have set backup dates of Saturday, 3rd May – Monday, 5th May.
Entry opens on Monday, 24th February, at 7pm via the LIVEHEATS website and closes on Sunday, 23rd March. Registration is open to members of Surfing England.
