Joey Cope, who runs Cobbler Cope at Prow Park, took part in the shoe repair contest at the Charles Birch Show in Leeds.
Over the summer Joey helped support the Newquay community by repurposing donated school shoes for struggling families.
He tells Radio Newquay there's been a shift towards people recycling and restoring shoes.
