Two public toilets at Newquay Railway Station have been closed after vandals kicked a large hole between the cubicles.
Newquay Town Council says the incident happened on Monday night between 5pm and 10pm and police have been informed. The council is appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward. The remaining facilities at the station remain open to the public.
The toilets have been closed previously due to similar acts of vandalism.
Meanwhile, upgrades to the public toilets at the Killacourt have been completed. Contactless payment machines are now in place, with the unisex accessible toilet accepting both cash and card payments. The male and female facilities are now contactless only.
