Newquay AFC will pay tribute tomorrow to Paul Hampshire, who died in a road accident in 2022.
At 2:30pm, there will be a gathering at the Mount Wise ground to honour the player who made Newquay his home. It will be hosted by special guest Jim Hilton. A memorial bench, donated by Paul's friends and family, will be unveiled during the event, and all are welcome to attend.
Following the tribute, at 3pm, Newquay will take on Holsworthy AFC in a match dedicated to his memory.
Newquay First Team Manager Shaun Middleton, says he is feeling "confident" ahead of the game but is determined to "put on a performance" as Newquay remain top of the South West Peninsula League West.
