Police have released further details about a series of vehicle break-ins in the Newquay area as they appeal for witnesses and information.
Between Friday, 10th January, and Thursday, 16th January, police say there were several thefts from motor vehicles in various parts of Newquay, including Nansledan and the Henver Road area.
Patrols have been increased, and officers are urging residents to lock their vehicles at all times and remove any personal items and valuables.
In a statement, police said:
"If you see anybody acting suspiciously, particularly in the early hours, or theft from a vehicle in progress, please call 999."
