The owners of Dairyland Farm Park, a family attraction near Newquay, have announced the park’s closure.
In a statement posted online, the owners cited the challenges posed by Covid and rising operating costs, which have led to "significant financial loss every year," losses they "cannot continue to support."
The park will open for a final Halloween-themed week in October, with its doors closing permanently at 5pm on Sunday, 3rd November 2024. The owners have assured visitors that they will find new homes for all of the park’s animals, "where they will be loved and treasured, as they have been at Dairyland."
They expressed gratitude to their supporters over the years, acknowledging the emotional impact the closure will have on families who have made memories at Dairyland.
