Armed police have seized a vehicle and recovered a large quantity of Class A drugs during a proactive stop in Newquay.
Devon and Cornwall Police said its Armed Response Unit carried out the stop on Tuesday. The driver was arrested after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis and was also found to have no insurance, resulting in the vehicle being seized.
Officers then searched the car and arrested the passenger on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police also carried out a search of a property in Bodmin, where drugs and a zombie-style knife were recovered.
