The Newquay Lottery not only gives participants the chance to win cash each week, but it also helps fund Radio Newquay and supports local good causes.
Now, local clubs, charities, community groups, and societies are invited to apply for the 2025 Community Grant Scheme, funded entirely by lottery players.
This year, three £500 grants are available for not-for-profit organisations in and around Newquay. Previous recipients of Newquay Lottery funds include Newquay Surf Life Saving Club, Newquay Band, Newquay Women's Surf Club, Newquay Foodbank, Newquay Hockey Club, Crantock Street Community Garden, and Newquay AFC Youth.
Applications for the 2025 grants are open until midnight on Friday 28th November. To apply, visit NewquayLottery.com to review the criteria and terms. The recipients will be announced in the run-up to Christmas.
Radio Newquay Manager and presenter Mark Chapple said:
"We love reading about the exciting plans of clubs, groups, charities and local organisations and how they want to spend the money. The Newquay Lottery is a great scheme, that not only supports the radio station every day, but also helps people in our town and community. I can't wait to read this year's applications and telephone the lucky recipients in the run up to Christmas.
"Good luck to all applicants, and a big thank you to the weekly players of the Newquay Lottery who make these grants possible!"
