Police uncovered a stash of cocaine, MDMA, and cannabis worth over £4,000 at an address in St Columb Major.
Devon and Cornwall Police say officers executed a warrant at the end of June "under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act," which led to a significant quantity of illegal substances being found inside the residential property. A large amount of cash was also seized.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and is currently on police bail.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Inspector Steve Johnson said: “Our neighbourhood officers continue to work closely to gather information from the community about suspected drug dealing in and around Newquay. I hope this shows that we’re taking action following the reports we receive. If you know something, see something or suspect something, please report it to us.”
He added: “We will continue to carry out action like this to make towns across Cornwall a hostile place for people looking to commit crime.”
The warrant was led by the Force Support Group alongside Newquay’s Neighbourhood Police Team.
Anyone with information about illegal activity can report it to Devon & Cornwall Police via their website or by calling 101. Always call 999 in an emergency.
