Newquay Women’s Surf Club CIC (NWSC) is in the final days of its fundraising campaign, with just a few thousand pounds left to raise before hitting their £20,000 target.
If they reach £10,000 from at least 100 supporters, Sport England will match the amount, doubling the impact of donations.
To help reach the goal, NWSC is hosting a Christmas Party on 7th December, at the Newquay WI Hall from 7pm to 11pm. Open to members and non-members, the event promises a fun-filled evening with DJs Louisa and Nat spinning tunes, an optional 80s/90s fancy dress theme, and a "BYOB" (bring your own drink) policy to keep it affordable. Tickets are £8 and can be purchased through the rewards section on the NWSC Crowdfunder page. The first 20 ticket buyers will even receive a free beer on the night!
Funds raised will support NWSC in purchasing new equipment, increasing subsidised spots for participants, and offering accredited training courses for women. This is your chance to support a local initiative making surfing more accessible while celebrating the festive season.
More details and ticket booking are available on the NWSC Crowdfunder page.
