Budding astronomers are invited to a special event at Newquay Tretherras tonight to observe and learn more about the sun and the moon through specialist telescopes.
Supported by Kernow Astronomers, the event is part of a series of free learning activities open to all ages. Expert astronomers will be on hand, and specialist equipment will be available for attendees to use.
Dr. Nigel Price, a physics teacher at Newquay Tretherras, will lead the event. It runs from 5-7pm, and attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and bring a hot drink.
