A man has been seriously injured following an assault in Newquay.
Police were called to St Michael’s Road at around 10.25pm on Wednesday 30th July after reports of an incident. A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Detectives are working to establish the full circumstances and identify those involved, who had left the scene before officers arrived.
A police cordon was in place on St Michael’s Road while enquiries were carried out but has since been lifted.
