Police have issued an appeal after a man was reportedly assaulted in Newquay town centre.
Officers were called shortly after midnight on Sunday 18 May to Fore Street, following reports of a fight.
In a statement, police said: “During the incident a man was picked up and dropped on his head, knocking him briefly unconscious.”
The victim was treated by paramedics and has since been discharged from hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant footage is asked to contact police on 101 or via the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting reference 50250124522.
