Police appeal after assault and threats made in Newquay property

Police have issued an appeal to help identify a man following reports of three men entering a property in Newquay and assaulting and threatening people inside before fleeing the scene.

In a statement, police said:
“It was reported that at around 10pm on Sunday 15 June, three males entered a property on Trelawney Road in Newquay and assaulted and threatened people inside before leaving with a quantity of cash and jewellery.

"Nobody was seriously injured during the incident."

Officers have been investigating and are now asking the public for help identifying the man pictured, as they believe he may assist with enquiries.

“We are aware the image is not of the highest quality but it is all we have available at present,” they said.
