The National Grid says it is aware of power issues in Newquay.
This follows reports from residents who experienced power cuts, interruptions to supply, and flickering lights throughout Thursday.
Properties in the Trevemper and Treloggan areas that lost power on Wednesday were due to be reconnected by Thursday lunchtime.
According to the National Grid website, on Thursday evening, over 900 properties in the TR7, TR8, and TR4 postcodes were affected by what they describe as a "high voltage fault."
A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: “We’ve received several calls relating to the flickering of lights across Newquay. We would like to reassure customers that we are aware of the issue and will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
