Trenance Valley is ready to embrace the Halloween spirit with its first light show this Sunday.
Ahead of the new illuminations, funded by Experience Newquay, a "non-scary" Halloween event will take place at Trenance Cottages. The afternoon will feature Halloween crafts, indoor games, a 50p ‘Where’s Dracula Hiding?’ raffle, and pumpkin races down the stream every half hour.
As dusk falls at around 4:30 p.m., the historic cottages will be lit up with spooky colours, creating a magical atmosphere. The light display will run from 27th to 31st October.
The project is part of a grant awarded to the Garden Café and Trenance Cottages, which will support three seasonal 'Trees and Tales' events for Halloween, Christmas, and St Piran's Week.
