Drivers in Newquay are being warned to take extra care on Trevemper Road after a deep pothole caused damage to several vehicles.
The pothole, located west of the Trenance Hill roundabout by the boating lake, has already led to multiple reports of flat tyres and punctures. The issue was highlighted by former Cornwall Councillor and Transport Cabinet member Geoff Brown, who told Radio Newquay that a number of motorists had been affected earlier today. The hazard has now been reported to Cornwall Council. Motorists are advised to slow down and approach the area with caution until repairs can be carried out.
