Newquay Cricket Club's new season is off to a high, with its third team topping the league and a big push underway to grow the next generation of players.
The club is celebrating the addition of younger players to the adult game, including fourth team player Theo Anatol. After taking wickets last weekend, Theo went on to claim 5 wickets for just 12 runs and scored 21 not out for the under 13s this week.
A recent rule change means 12-year-olds can now play adult cricket, opening the door for more young talent to step up. If you would like to find out more about joining the team they're on the look our for anyone aged 5 and up. Click here for more information.
