Coastal Emergency services were scrambled on Friday afternoon to the Barrowfields.
Newquay and Padstow Coastguard volunteers, along with the RNLI, were tasked to the incident around 12:50pm to assist Devon & Cornwall Police and the ambulance service.
Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue confirmed to Radio Newquay that the casualty was a male. In a statement, they said: "After locating the casualty on the cliff face, both teams rigged for a technical rope rescue, with the lifeboat standing by. The casualty was secured and safely brought back to the top of the cliff before being handed over to the ambulance."
They thanked those involved for their assistance and praised their "great teamwork."
