There are just 10 days left until the brand new Be Newquay Festival kicks off.
Preparations are well underway for the month long festival as organisers promise a celebration of the vibrant Cornish community through music, art, wellness, and culture.
It will feature a wide range of activities across different venues in Newquay. Already, the festival has attracted attention with its striking murals, part of the MUQY street art walking tour, which have been turning heads around town. A third mural is set to be painted during the month.
In our Newsplus report, we hear from Dickie Souray, the Production Co-ordinator, and Mark Warren, Manager of Newquay BID, who believes the festival will be a significant boost to the town.
The festival opens on 1st November and offers a mix of free and affordable events, making it accessible to the entire community.
For more details on the event schedule, visit the Be Newquay website.
Experience Newquay is a two-year project (due to run until March 2025) from Cornwall Council, funded by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme.
