VOTE 2025 - Cornwall Council Elections Thursday 1st May

As we countdown to the Cornwall Council elections this Thursday 1 May, Radio Newquay has been speaking with the candidates who are standing for election in the various divisions in our area.

Candidates were invited to submit a written article of up to 500 words and a photo for inclusion in our coverage. Candidates in the Newquay Central & Pentire division were also invited to speak to us in a recorded interview. You can listen to the interviews here.

Polls open at 7am on Thursday 1st May and close at 10pm. When voting, don't forget to take ID. Cornwall Council has provided lots of useful information here
