Radio Newquay is giving you a chance to win cash in our ever-increasing prize pot.

We've teamed up with Micro DIY - Newquay's one stop shop for all your DIY and building needs, and all you need to do is identify The Micro Mystery Word to win the cash!

Listen to the clip below, and see if you can identify the word which has been disguised by the Micro power drill! (TIP: Despite the name Micro Mystery Word, the answer can be any length!)

How do I play?

We play weekday mornings at 8:20am. Submit your guess using the form below by 6pm the day before. (The first round of the new game is Monday 3rd August at 8:20am)

Each day, at random, we will read out three guesses until one lucky entrant identifies the Micro Mystery Word. Listen to Radio Newquay on 106.1FM, on RadioNewquay.com, the app or via your smartspeaker to hear if your guess is read out.

Remember, only a correct guess read out on Radio Newquay will win the prize total, which increases by £25 each week.

HINT: The answer is one word not two

Terms and Conditions

Each day, three entries are selected at random using a random number generator. We do not see any of the guesses before this selection takes place.

Even if a correct answer has been submitted, it will only become a winning entry if it is randomly selected and read out on air. If the correct answer has not been randomly selected, the competition will continue and the prize will roll over.

In the event of a tie, we will use a random generator to find a winner.

You can only enter once per day, and entries close at 6pm the night before (6pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). We do not play on Bank Holidays when guesses will be rolled over to the next available weekday.

Suggestions that have already been used on air will be skipped (please check the list below to make sure yours has not already been ruled out). 

Entrants must be 18 years old and over.
