A special event in Newquay tonight aims to address voter apathy ahead of the upcoming council elections in May.
The Why Vote? event is being put on by Newquay Methodist Centre to help tackle common misconceptions about voting and help people consider how to make their decision at the ballot box.
Organisers say it’s not a political or campaigning event but a chance to explore the question: What’s the point in voting?
It takes place at 7pm at The Hub in Nansledan.
