Newquay’s first team were bowled out for just 79 against Hayle, who comfortably chased down the target to secure a seven-wicket win.
There was better news for Newquay seconds however, who posted 205 before dismissing Liskeard for 61 to claim a convincing 144-run victory.
Newquay thirds suffered a heavy defeat after Buckland Monachorum made 210 and then restricted the visitors to 64 all out.
Meanwhile, Newquay fourths secured a comprehensive 203-run win after bowling Redruth out for just 31.
St Newlyn East were beaten by 60 runs against Leedstown despite a late effort with the bat while chasing 167.
In football, St Newlyn East edged out Saltash United thirds 1-0 in the St Piran League thanks to a second-half winner from Ross London.
And finally, Newquay AFC have confirmed the return of experienced local goalkeeper Shaun Semmens.
Semmens rejoins the club following spells with Godolphin Atlantic, Bideford and Larkhall Athletic.
