Year 11 students at Treviglas Academy are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.
Pupils, families and staff gathered at the school as students opened their results following years of study across a wide range of subjects.
Among the academy’s highest-achieving students was Darcey, who received six Grade 9s and two Grade 8s.
Beck achieved five Grade 9s and three Grade 8s, while Violet received four Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and a Distinction*.
Thom achieved four Grade 9s, one Grade 8, one Grade 7 and a Distinction*. Amelie received three Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and two Grade 7s, while Taylor achieved three Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and a Distinction*.
Headteacher James Rogers said: “I am genuinely proud of each and every one of our students. Not only because of the results they have achieved, but as importantly, the wonderful human beings they have become.
“I have no doubt that they will all go on to achieve great things and give back to our fantastic community.
“Huge thanks go to the support from parents and families, as well as to the relentless hard work our staff have put in.”

Students are now confirming their next steps, with many planning to remain at Treviglas for sixth-form study. Others will move on to further education courses or local apprenticeships.
The academy said the results continued the academic improvement made at the school in recent years and congratulated the Class of 2026 on its achievements.
